Who is Marathon Parade?

MarathonParade Company is the worldwide intellectual owner of the Marathon Parade brand. Its founder Rene Ybarra Matus is a marathon runner and entrepreneur based in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.


CAN MY COMPANY SPONSOR THE EXHIBITION?

In each City where Marathon Parade is exhibited there is an opportunity to sponsor the exhibition or any of the works at different levels. The plans are accessible where companies of all levels can participate.


HOW ARE RESOURCES TRANSFERRED TO ANY ASSOCIATION OF BENEFICIENCY?

At the end of the exhibition in each City, an auction with live offers is made to support a charity work that is designated with the government or organizing committee of the exhibition of each city.


HOW MANY SCULPTURES ARE THROUGH EXPOSURE?

Marathon Parade is designed so that there are always 42 sculptures representing each kilometer of a marathon.


HOW LONG DOES THE EXHIBITION LAST IN EACH CITY?

Public exposure can last from 2 to 4 months, although ideally we think it would be 3 months (each city can define this exposure time). The public exhibition ends with an auction that must be held 2 or 3 weeks after the public exhibition ends.


WHERE IS THE EXHIBITION PERFORMED?

The streets, parks, historic centers of the host city become a museum and the public exhibition ends every kilometer of the city's marathon day.

WHO ARE THE ARTISTS THAT PARTICIPATE?

Marathon Parade is a perfect setting for all the artists of the host city. Three levels of artists are contemplated, one is that of painters, sculptors and artists recognized for their work; Another level is that of influencers of running or sports, public figures, musicians with artistic skills who can develop a work; The third level is open for students and beginners who previously show their creativity to be able to take them into account. In all three levels artists are challenged to perform their work according to their essence as artists.


ARE THE ARTISTS PAYED SOMETHING FOR THEIR WORK?

Yes, each artist according to their level receives a budget where their work is covered, materials and a fiberglass sculpture is delivered to them to design their work.


WHAT ARE THE SCULPTURES OF MATERIAL?

They are made of fiberglass and have steel reinforcing bars on the extremities. Its approximate weight is 100 pounds before the application of each artist. All the sculptures have a cement base.


CAN I GET ANY OF THE MINIATURE SCULPTURES?

Approximately 7 to 9 sculptures of each event are reproduced and become part of the collection and will be available in the store section of marathonparade.com
